Instant funding prop firms
Skip the evaluation, not the rules
Instant funding means you pay for account access without first passing an evaluation. You generally pay more upfront to skip that phase, but loss limits and trading restrictions still apply from day one. A drawdown breach can cost you the account immediately. Instant access does not mean instant permission to withdraw profits.
Most retail prop firms, including most instant funding firms, use simulated funded accounts. The displayed account balance is not cash deposited for you to withdraw. Paid challenges are also simulated evaluations. Most traders do not pass, and the fee is usually lost when they fail. Instant funding removes the evaluation hurdle, not the risk of losing your fee.
The programs covered here include Tradeify Lightning Funded, Lucid Trading LucidDirect and FundedNext Stellar Instant. Alpha Futures also publishes Direct account rules, including withdrawal profit targets and payout consistency. The published Direct facts do not establish its entry fee or explicitly confirm that it skips evaluation, so confirm those points before treating it as a no-evaluation purchase.
Account delivery can also involve identity verification. Audacity Capital describes most accounts as active within 24–48 hours after payment, rather than necessarily available immediately. An evaluation requires you to meet passing conditions first; instant funding removes that phase but leaves the account's trading and payout conditions in place.
Sorted by lowest listed fee for an instant account, unknown fees last. Monthly fees are compared per month. This order is arithmetic, not a paid placement.

FundedNext Stellar Instant has no profit target, daily loss limit, minimum trading days or consistency rule. Its 6% trailing maximum loss limit still applies and stops at the initial balance. The reward share starts at 70% and reaches 80% from Tier 3. Overnight and weekend holding are allowed with swap charges. Specified correlated-pair news trades receive only 40% profit credit, while losses count fully.

Alpha Futures Direct uses withdrawal profit targets and 20% consistency instead of winning days. Its end-of-day trailing loss floor stops at the starting balance, and its performance split is 90%. Direct Qualified accounts prohibit order execution within 2 minutes before or after relevant high-impact news. The pages we read do not state Direct's entry fee or explicitly confirm a no-evaluation route.

Lucid Trading's LucidDirect rules move the profit requirement to the payout cycle. The 25K account has an initial $1,500 profit goal, then $1,250 for subsequent cycles, with consistency of at most 20% and at least 10 trading days for eligibility. The daily loss limit scales at 60% of peak end-of-day profit. Entry fees are not stated on the pages we read.

Tradeify Lightning Funded combines no evaluation with progressive payout consistency of 20%, then 25%, then 30%. Its 50K account costs $309 as listed in October 2026, with a $2,000 end-of-day trailing drawdown and $1,250 daily loss limit. You keep 90% of eligible profits, but must leave at least 5 trading days between payout requests. No resets or refunds are available.
Trailing (end of day)
What replaces the challenge
The upfront fee is the clearest trade-off. As listed in October 2026, Tradeify's 50K Lightning Funded account costs $309, compared with $145 for its 50K Growth Evaluation and $165 for its 50K Select Evaluation. Lightning is a one-time purchase with no activation fee, but no resets are available. Tradeify says all sales are final.
Skipping an evaluation does not necessarily reduce your profit share. Tradeify's Growth, Select and Lightning simulated funded accounts all pay 90% to the trader. LucidPro and LucidDirect also both pay 90%. FundedNext differs: Stellar Instant starts at 70% for Tiers 1 and 2, then rises to 80% from Tier 3, while Stellar 2-Step lists an 80% reward share.
Drawdown is the loss allowance before you breach the account's floor. Tradeify Lightning's 50K account has a $2,000 maximum drawdown and a $1,250 daily loss limit. Its trailing floor adjusts at the end of the trading day based on the highest balance. A rising floor can reduce the room you have to give profits back; the account size alone does not tell you your loss allowance.
FundedNext Stellar Instant has no daily loss limit, but it still has a 6% trailing maximum loss limit. That floor follows the highest recorded balance and stops at the initial starting balance. Stellar 2-Step instead lists a static drawdown floor with a 10% maximum loss limit. A static floor stays fixed; a trailing floor moves upward as the account reaches qualifying higher balances. These are different risk structures, not just different routes to account access.
Consistency rules can replace the evaluation hurdle with a withdrawal hurdle. Tradeify Lightning uses progressive payout consistency of 20%, then 25%, then 30%. Growth has no evaluation consistency requirement, while Select removes its 40% consistency rule after passing. LucidDirect requires payout-cycle consistency of at most 20%, compared with at most 40% on LucidPro.
No evaluation target does not always mean no profit goal. LucidDirect's 25K account requires $1,500 for its initial payout goal and $1,250 for subsequent cycles, plus at least 10 trading days for payout eligibility. Alpha Futures Direct uses withdrawal profit targets and 20% consistency instead of winning days. Those conditions can matter more than the time saved by avoiding a challenge.
Tradeify Lightning requires at least 5 trading days between payout requests. Stellar Instant lists no minimum trading days, no profit target and no consistency rule, but the published FundedNext withdrawal schedule is not explicitly tied to Stellar Instant. Confirm the product-specific schedule rather than assuming you can withdraw immediately. Keep entry rules separate from payout rules when comparing accounts.
Check these terms before paying
- Does the exact product skip evaluation? Check the product name, not just the firm's instant-funding advertising. Alpha Futures Direct's published rules do not explicitly confirm its entry route.
- What is the full fee, and does it recur? Instant funding can use a one-time purchase or a monthly subscription. LucidDirect and Stellar Instant entry fees are not stated on the pages published here.
- Where does the loss floor start, when does it move, and where does it stop? LucidDirect locks its floor at the initial balance plus $100 once the account exceeds the initial trail balance.
- Is there a separate daily loss limit? LucidDirect's limit scales at 60% of peak end-of-day profit. Stellar Instant has none, but its maximum loss limit still applies.
- What blocks a payout? Check profit goals, consistency, required trading days and any withdrawal caps separately. LucidDirect requires both its profit goal and consistency of at most 20%.
- Does your trading style fit the holding and news rules? Tradeify prohibits overnight holding. Stellar Instant allows overnight and weekend holding with swap charges, but reduces profit credit on specified news trades.
- Can you recover the purchase fee after a breach? Tradeify offers no refunds, and Stellar Instant's purchase price is not refunded at any point. Neither policy makes the fee recoverable through simply completing account requirements.
Questions people ask
Are instant funding prop firm accounts live accounts?
Most retail prop firms, including most instant funding firms, use simulated funded accounts. You trade under simulated market conditions rather than receiving the displayed balance as live capital. Tradeify explicitly identifies Lightning as a simulated funded account.
Is instant funding more expensive than a challenge?
You generally pay more upfront to skip evaluation. As listed in October 2026, Tradeify's 50K Lightning account costs $309, while its 50K Growth Evaluation costs $145. The pages we read do not state LucidDirect or Stellar Instant entry fees, so that comparison cannot be extended to those products.
Can I withdraw immediately from an instant funded account?
Not necessarily. LucidDirect requires at least 10 trading days, a payout profit goal and consistency of at most 20%. Tradeify Lightning requires at least 5 trading days between payout requests, so instant funding should not be read as instant withdrawal.
Can I lose an instant funded account on the first day?
Yes. Breaching a drawdown rule can cause an instant account to be lost immediately, just as with an account obtained through evaluation. No evaluation does not mean a grace period from loss limits.
