What FundingPips offers
FundingPips offers simulated evaluations covering forex, commodities, indices and crypto. Its programs include 2 Step Standard, 2 Step Pro, 2 Step Flex and 1 Step Flex. All accounts, including Master accounts, operate in a simulated environment; no trades execute on live markets. The firm's pages we read do not state the available platforms.
The holding rule can decide whether it fits your strategy: Master accounts cannot hold trades overnight or over the weekend without the Swing add-on. The system automatically closes open trades without it. A separate rule also says all instruments must be closed before the weekend market close, so confirm how the add-on changes that requirement.
Disclosure: this link goes to fundingpips.com. We are not paid by FundingPips today; if the firm approves our affiliate application we may earn a commission. The rules shown do not change either way.

Challenge options and listed fees
The options differ in targets, loss limits and required trading days. Compare those alongside fees, rather than choosing by account size alone.
- 2 Step Standard: sizes are 5K, 10K, 25K, 50K and 100K; the pages we read do not state fees. Targets are 8% in Phase 1 and 5% in Phase 2, with no time limit; the 3% daily-loss configuration has no minimum trading days, while the 5% configuration requires 3 trading days.
- 2 Step Pro: the listed 100K fee is $466, as listed in October 2026. Both phases have a 6% target, with no minimum trading days and no time limit.
- 2 Step Flex: fees are $39 for 5K, $70 for 10K, $188 for 25K, $299 for 50K and $555 for 100K, as listed in October 2026. The homepage lists targets of 10% and 8%, but the terms list 6% for the later phase; confirm the applicable target before paying. It requires 1 trading day and has no time limit.
- 1 Step Flex: the target is 12%, with no minimum trading days and no time limit. The pages we read do not state its fees or account sizes.
How the loss floors work
These programs use a static maximum-loss floor: a fixed lower limit based on the starting account size. It does not rise when you make profits. Exceeding the permitted maximum loss breaches the rule.
Standard allows 10% maximum loss, Pro allows 6%, and both Flex programs allow 12%. Pro explicitly states that its floor never moves. A wider overall allowance does not remove the daily limit: you can breach the daily rule before reaching the overall floor.
Daily loss limits are 3% or 5% for Standard, 3% for Pro, 4% for 2 Step Flex, and 2% or 3% for 1 Step Flex. Pro calculates its daily allowance from the higher of opening balance or opening equity. Equity includes open-position gains and losses. The pages we read do not state the daily calculation method for the other programs or the reset time.
Reward timing and profit splits
Pro states that you can request a reward every 7 calendar days after the first executed Master-account trade, with an 80% split. This is a request schedule, not a stated processing deadline.
Standard lists a split up to 100%. 2 Step Flex lists bi-weekly rewards with a split up to 95%. The pages we read do not state the conditions for receiving those maximum splits, the 1 Step Flex split, payout minimums or processing times.
Program fees are non-refundable once paid, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Do not assume that passing the evaluation or requesting a reward returns your fee.
Trading rules that can block your strategy
Purposely trading news is prohibited in evaluation and Master phases and leads to account closure. The pages we read do not state a precise restricted news window. Master overnight and weekend holding requires the Swing add-on; confirm its scope because the separate weekend-close rule applies to all named instruments.
Third-party Expert Advisors, or EAs, may only act as trade or risk managers. Other third-party EAs are prohibited, as are copy trading and account management by a third-party vendor. These rules exclude third-party bots that place strategy trades for you.
For Pro monthly rewards, no single trading day may account for more than 35% of total profit. That consistency measure resets after each reward. It can affect reward eligibility if most of your profit comes from one day; the stated condition concerns monthly rewards, not the weekly schedule.
Accounts cannot remain inactive for more than 30 calendar days. Inactivity means no trades have been executed. Having no evaluation time limit does not remove this activity requirement.
Fits you if
- Traders who prefer a static overall loss floor.
- Traders who need no evaluation time limit but can meet the activity rule.
- Manual traders who use third-party EAs only for trade or risk management.
- Traders who close Master positions before overnight holding or confirm the Swing add-on.
Skip it if
- Traders whose strategy purposely trades news.
- Traders relying on third-party strategy EAs or vendor copy trading.
- Traders needing overnight Master holding without an add-on.
- Traders expecting a refundable challenge fee after passing.
What to confirm before paying
These are paid evaluations on simulated accounts, and FundingPips Master accounts are simulated too. Most traders do not pass, and the fee is usually lost when they fail. A stated reward split is not promised income.
- Confirm your exact configuration, daily-loss percentage, daily reset time and breach calculation.
- Resolve the 2 Step Flex later-phase target conflict: the homepage says 8%, while the terms say 6%.
- Check the current checkout fee, platform availability and Swing add-on terms. Fees here are as listed in October 2026.
- Confirm payout minimums, processing times and conditions for maximum splits; the pages we read do not state them.
- Check whether your news approach, automation and planned holding periods comply before paying a generally non-refundable fee.
