Crypto prop firms

Which prop firms list crypto

Breakout, FTMO, FundingPips and E8 Markets name crypto among their tradable markets. We read their official pages in October 2026. This list does not establish that every crypto symbol is available on every account or platform.

Breakout is the crypto-only firm in this list. FTMO, FundingPips and E8 Markets are multi-market firms listed under forex on this site. FTMO also names indices, commodities and stocks; FundingPips names commodities and indices; E8 Markets names stocks, futures, commodities, indices and forex.

A crypto-only offering and a forex offering that includes crypto are not interchangeable. Compare loss limits, holding permissions and payout conditions, not just the market label. The pages checked do not establish whether each crypto instrument is a CFD, a contract tracking a price rather than ownership of the asset. Confirm the instrument type before paying.

Challenges are paid evaluations on simulated accounts. Most traders do not pass, and the fee is usually lost when they fail. Funded accounts are also simulated at most firms; the advertised account size is not cash you receive. Compare specific programs rather than choosing by account size alone.

Sorted by lowest listed fee, unknown fees last. Monthly fees are compared per month. This order is arithmetic, not a paid placement.

Breakout lists only crypto and permits weekend holding and news trading. Classic, Pro and Turbo have static maximum drawdowns of 6%, 5% and 3%, with a 3% daily limit across all of them. No consistency rule or minimum trading days apply. Payouts are on demand in USDC on Ethereum, with a $50 minimum after the split.

FundingPips explicitly includes crypto in its weekend-close statement. Its Master accounts require the Swing add-on for overnight and weekend holding; otherwise, open trades are automatically closed. Standard, Pro and Flex have different daily and overall loss limits, so the firm name alone does not identify your risk allowance. Purposely trading news can lead to closure in evaluation and Master phases.

E8 Markets lists crypto, but drawdown and consistency rules vary by program. E8 Pro has static drawdown with no consistency rules or payout caps. E8 One has a 40% best-day rule, while E8 Zero trails at the end of the day during the challenge. Weekend holding, news trading and bot permissions are not stated on the pages checked.

Its 2-Step uses a static 10% loss floor and 5% daily loss limit; its 1-Step uses end-of-day trailing drawdown and a 3% daily limit. The 1-Step also has a 50% Best Day Rule. Weekend holding is not stated on the pages checked, so confirm permission before planning multi-day positions.

Rules that can end a crypto account

A drawdown limit sets the loss floor your account must respect. A static floor stays fixed relative to the starting balance; a trailing floor moves with gains under the program’s calculation. Crossing a loss limit can breach the account even before you reach the profit target.

  • FTMO loss limits differ by program. The 2-Step has a static 10% maximum loss and a 5% daily loss limit, both based on initial simulated capital. The 1-Step has a 10% end-of-day trailing maximum loss and a 3% daily loss limit. Traders who need a fixed overall floor must distinguish these programs.
  • FundingPips uses static overall floors in the programs listed here. Standard allows 10% maximum loss and either 3% or 5% daily loss. Pro allows 6% maximum loss, with daily loss set at 3% of the higher opening balance or equity. The 2 Step Flex allows 12% maximum loss and 4% daily loss; 1 Step Flex allows 12% maximum loss and either 2% or 3% daily loss.
  • E8 Markets uses different drawdown models. E8 Pro lists static drawdown. E8 Zero’s challenge floor trails at the end of the day and can move beyond the initial balance. The selected E8 One account displays $4,000 daily drawdown and $6,000 dynamic drawdown; do not apply those amounts to every account size.
  • Breakout’s Classic, Pro and Turbo each have a 3% daily loss limit. Their static maximum drawdowns are 6%, 5% and 3%, respectively. Turbo leaves less overall loss room than Classic, despite its lower listed fee.
  • Weekend permission matters because crypto trades on weekends. Breakout allows overnight, weekend and holiday holding without forced closes. FundingPips says all instruments, including crypto, must close before weekend market close; its Master-account rule allows overnight and weekend holding only with the Swing add-on. Confirm how both statements apply to your phase. FTMO and E8 Markets do not state weekend permission on the pages checked.
  • Breakout has no news-event restrictions. FTMO forbids gap trading by opening trades around scheduled market-moving news. FundingPips prohibits purposely trading news in evaluation and Master phases and says this leads to account closure. E8 Markets’ pages checked do not state a news-trading rule.
  • The pages checked do not state numerical crypto leverage or position-size limits for these firms. FundingPips permits third-party Expert Advisors only as trade or risk managers. FTMO allows automation subject to legitimate trading, real-market conditions and forbidden-practice rules. Breakout and E8 Markets do not state bot permissions on the pages checked.
  • Profit concentration can affect eligibility without a loss breach. FTMO 1-Step limits the best day to 50% of combined profitable-day profit. E8 One limits a single day to 40% of total generated profits. E8 Pro and Breakout state no consistency rule. FundingPips Pro’s monthly rewards have a 35% single-day limit that resets after each reward.
  • Breakout offers on-demand payout requests with a $50 minimum after the split, paid in USDC on Ethereum. FundingPips Pro lists an 80% weekly split, requestable every 7 calendar days after the first Master trade. E8 Markets says USD wire and ACH payments are processed within 7 days; processing time does not establish when you become eligible.

Before you pay for a crypto challenge

Match the rules to your strategy. Weekend positions need explicit holding permission; concentrated profits need compatible consistency rules; automated entries need explicit bot permission. A market listing alone does not answer those questions.

  • Confirm your crypto symbols and instrument type on the selected platform. FTMO lists MT4, MT5 and cTrader; E8 Markets lists Tradelocker, cTrader and Match Trade. Their pages checked do not establish identical crypto availability across platforms.
  • Record the daily-loss configuration and overall floor. FundingPips Standard’s 3% daily-loss configuration has no minimum trading days; its 5% configuration requires 3 trading days.
  • Compare the fee with the loss allowance. As listed in October 2026, Breakout’s 5K Classic costs $45, Pro costs $33 and Turbo costs $20. Their maximum drawdowns are 6%, 5% and 3%; the lower fee comes with less overall loss room.
  • Check refund conditions separately from passing conditions. FTMO refunds its 2-Step fee with the first reward withdrawal after passing. FundingPips fees are non-refundable except where required by law; E8 fees are non-refundable under its terms. Breakout fees become non-refundable once trading begins.
  • Check payout eligibility, the trader share and payment route together. Breakout’s standard share is 80%, with a 90% checkout upgrade. A profit split alone does not explain when you can request money.
  • Recheck official rules before paying. This comparison reflects October 2026; today’s checkout may have different terms. Budget for losing the evaluation fee, not for promised income. This is not financial advice.
