How the matcher ranks prop firms
Your answers filter prop firms by market, account size, fee and rule fit. The ranking is arithmetic on the listed rules, not a prediction that you will pass a challenge or receive a payout. Use it to narrow the choices, then review the conditions behind each match.
The site covers 14 prop firms. We read their official rule pages in October 2026. When a card says “not stated,” the firm's pages do not state that detail. The matcher treats it as unknown, not as a pass for your requirements.
Use the comparison table to check the listed rules side by side. A match helps you find relevant accounts; it does not remove the need to confirm an unknown rule before paying.
Read the floor before the target
The red floor line represents the maximum drawdown: the loss boundary you must stay above. A static floor stays fixed. A trailing floor moves upward as the account reaches higher values, so gains can change how much room remains before a breach.
The green dashed line marks the profit target. Read it together with the red floor: reaching for the target does not make the loss limit less restrictive. The curve is illustrative, not a record of trading results or a forecast.
The card helps you see the difference, but the firm's rules determine how its floor moves and what triggers a breach. Confirm those mechanics before treating static and trailing limits as interchangeable.
What your challenge fee buys
A challenge fee buys a paid evaluation on a simulated account, not the displayed account balance. Most traders do not pass, and the fee is usually lost when they fail. Funded accounts are also simulated at most firms.
Rules and fees can change after checking. Confirm the current conditions on the official firm page before paying, especially any detail marked “not stated.” A match in the table does not establish that an evaluation fits your trading or predict that you will pass. This comparison is not financial advice.
Questions people ask
How are prop firms ranked in the matcher?
Your answers filter the listed accounts by market, size, fee and rule fit. Ranking is arithmetic on those rules, not a forecast of your trading results.
What is the difference between static and trailing drawdown?
A static drawdown floor stays fixed, while a trailing floor moves upward as the account reaches higher values. Check the firm's official rules for exactly how the floor moves and what triggers a breach.
Does “not stated” mean a prop firm has no restriction?
No. It means the firm's pages do not state that detail, so the matcher shows it as unknown rather than treating it as a rule you satisfy.
Does a prop firm challenge fee buy a live trading account?
A challenge fee buys an evaluation on a simulated account. Funded accounts are also simulated at most firms, and failing an evaluation usually means losing the fee.
