What Lucid Trading offers
Lucid Trading offers futures programs: LucidPro and LucidFlex one-step evaluations, LucidDirect instant accounts, and LucidDaily. Supported platforms include NinjaTrader, Tradovate, Sierra Chart, Quantower, Tradesea, Bookmap, Jigsaw, ATAS, R|Trader Pro, and MultiCharts.
The loss floor matters more than the account label. LucidFlex and LucidDirect use a trailing floor that eventually locks; reaching the maximum loss limit can end your account. A daily loss limit breach only restricts trading unless you also reach that floor.

Programs, fees and targets
LucidPro is a one-step evaluation. Its 25K account has a $1,250 profit target and a $1,000 maximum loss limit: 5% and 4% of the starting balance, respectively.
LucidFlex offers 25K, 50K, 100K, and 150K one-step evaluations with a two-day pass path. The firm's pages we read do not state its fees or profit targets.
LucidDirect offers instant accounts in 25K, 50K, 100K, and 150K sizes. Its fees are not stated on the pages we read; the 25K payout profit goals are $1,500 initially and $1,250 in later cycles.
LucidDaily offers daily payout requests without a funded consistency rule. The pages we read do not state its fees, account sizes, or targets.
- LucidPro one-time fees, as listed in October 2026: 25K $123; 50K $192; 100K $307; 150K $410. The source also displays $90.60, $140.40, $225.40, and $300.50 alongside those prices. Confirm the checkout fee.
- LucidPro has no activation fee for upgrading to funded. LucidFlex and LucidDirect state no monthly subscription or funded activation fees.
How the loss floor moves
A trailing loss floor rises as the account gains, reducing how much profit you can give back. Once it locks, it stops rising. The account size is not your usable loss allowance.
LucidFlex's 25K account has a $1,000 maximum loss allowance, equal to 4% of starting balance. Its table lists an initial trail balance of $26,100 and a locked floor of $25,100. The published rules do not state exactly when balances are sampled to update the trail.
LucidDirect locks its floor at starting balance plus $100 once the account is above its initial trail balance. The pages we read do not state that threshold or the starting loss allowance. LucidPro's 25K evaluation allows $1,000 maximum loss, but its precise floor-update mechanics are not stated.
LucidPro lists fixed daily loss limits of none on 25K, $1,200 on 50K, $1,800 on 100K, and $2,700 on 150K. Its funded daily limit scales to 60% of highest end-of-day profit; LucidDirect also uses 60% of peak end-of-day profit. Confirm which limit applies to your stage. Daily-limit breaches restrict trading, while reaching the maximum loss limit can cost the account.
When profits become withdrawable
LucidPro, LucidFlex, and LucidDirect pay 90% to the trader and retain 10%; LucidDaily lists the same split. Once approved, payouts typically take 5–15 minutes via Plaid or up to 2 business days internationally. That is delivery time after approval, not the time needed to become eligible.
LucidPro requires a minimum profit goal, consistency at or below 40%, and a buffer. You cannot withdraw from the buffer balance. The pages we read do not state the minimum goal or buffer amount.
LucidFlex requires the minimum daily profit on 5 separate days each payout cycle. Its funded accounts have no consistency rule or payout buffer, but the required daily profit amount is not stated. LucidDirect requires 10 trading days, its payout profit goal, and consistency at or below 20%; its initial 25K goal is $1,500, or 6% of starting balance.
LucidDaily allows daily payout requests. The pages we read do not state minimum withdrawal amounts, fee-refund terms, approval times, or a request schedule for the other programs.
Trading rules that can block you
LucidPro, LucidFlex, and LucidDirect positions must close before the firm's daily cutoff Monday–Friday. Trading resumes Sunday evening, so weekend holding is not allowed. Confirm the exact cutoff and reopening times on the official page before trading.
Trading U.S. high-impact red-folder news in a LucidDaily funded account is a hard breach. The pages we read do not state the news rules for the other programs. Automated strategies and trade copiers are allowed, but you remain responsible for software errors.
LucidFlex evaluation consistency is 50%, with a built-in cushion; funded Flex has no consistency rule and an optional daily loss limit. The pages we read do not state the consistency calculation formula, so confirm it before relying on a large winning day.
- Hedging is prohibited, including across accounts and correlated instruments.
- Accounts inactive for 30 calendar days may be permanently deleted.
- Households may have up to 10 evaluation accounts and 5 funded accounts, with a combined maximum of 10.
Fits you if
- Futures traders using one of the listed supported platforms.
- Automated-strategy users who accept responsibility for software errors.
- Traders wanting no evaluation daily loss limit on LucidFlex.
- Traders seeking no funded consistency rule on LucidFlex or LucidDaily.
Skip it if
- Traders who need weekend holding on Pro, Flex, or Direct.
- Traders who hedge across accounts or correlated instruments.
- News traders planning high-impact U.S. news trades on LucidDaily funded accounts.
- Traders whose Direct payout cycles cannot meet the 20% consistency requirement.
What to confirm before paying
We read the official pages in October 2026. Compare stated rules, not just account labels. Challenges are paid evaluations on simulated accounts. Most traders do not pass, and the fee is usually lost after failure. Funded accounts are also simulated at most firms; an instant account does not establish live-market funding.
- Confirm the checkout fee, especially the paired LucidPro prices and unlisted Flex, Direct, and Daily fees.
- Confirm your stage's floor calculation, lock threshold, daily loss limit, and treatment of open-position losses.
- Confirm payout minimums, consistency calculations, buffer requirements, and fee-refund terms.
- Confirm news restrictions and how the firm's daily cutoff applies to your trading schedule.
Lucid Trading questions
Does Lucid Trading have a daily loss limit?
It depends on the program and stage. LucidFlex evaluations have none, while funded Flex has an optional limit. Daily-limit breaches restrict trading rather than close the account unless the maximum loss limit is also reached.
Does Lucid Trading allow bots?
Automated strategies and trade copiers are permitted. You remain responsible for software errors and unintended outcomes.
How quickly does Lucid Trading pay?
Approved payouts typically arrive within 5–15 minutes via Plaid or up to 2 business days internationally. You must first meet your program's payout eligibility rules.
